Nannies that are employed as a Daily Nanny, will be working as either in complete charge or shared charge alongside a parent.

Duties for the nanny will encapsulate all childcare and /or nursery duties. This may include the preparation of the child to take to and from school, activities outside the school and appointments if required. A nanny will have responsibility to prepare meals and deal with laundry duties for the child.

There will be interaction to further a childs development. The nanny will be expected to organize trips to the park, library or promote any other learning opportunity.

Suggested working hours are 10 hours per day working Monday to Friday.

Should there be a requirement for additional hours or babysitting then this is by negotiation with an additional payment or if agreed, time off in lieu.

Salaries are expected between GBP 350 to GBP 450 per week. This is a guide. Every position is negotiated with highly qualified, experienced nannies commanding higher salaries.

Salaries quoted will always be a net figure with the employer responsible for paying their tax and national insurance contributions.

Daily full time nannies will expect 4-weeks paid holiday per year. The time taken will be at a mutually agreed time.

National holidays are given, or if worked, an additional payment is expected.

Should a nanny be asked to holiday with a family then this should be agreed well in advance. All travel expenses, accommodation, food and wage will required to be met.
