A Night Nanny would normally begin at 9:00 pm and work until 7:00 am.

Hiring a night nanny will be there to help for a number of reasons. Whether for a newly born that needs nightly feeds, to assist where parents need to be away or perhaps when a child cannot establish a regular sleep pattern.

A nanny would be expected prepare and settle the child for bed. This will include dressing, bathing, feeding and story reading. Following on through the night attending to the childs needs.

Other tasks will be to prepare the child in the morning, also dressing and preparing breakfast for the child if awake.

We follow the trend of current medical opinion not to guide babies to sleep until taking solids. This is usually from after 5 months old.

Normal hours of employment would be between 9:00pm and 7:00am.
