Generally au-pairs have minimal or no childcare experience. That said, most of our au-pairs have some childcare training. 

An au pair can be considered as a long stay guest with obligations and tasks to carry out.

They are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week over 5 days, therefore working 5 hours per day.

The au-pair duties will be caring for children, help in carrying out light housework ( like dusting, vacuuming and ironing). Carry out simple cooking.

You will be expected to :-

Include an au-pair as a member of the family.

Provide the au pair with private room, full board and lodging.

Arrange for a parent to be the primary caregiver for any child under 12 months of age.

Ensure that one parent remains in the home during the first three days that the au pair is with your family.

The cost of an au-pair will be :- GBP 5:50 per hour.

Au-pair hours-25 hours per week, including 2 evenings babysitting from GBP 125.
